At first it was the interest of a motorcycle being manufactured so close to home, then I started to hear more about the efforts towards creating a quality motorcycle. I began to pay attention to the the styling and what was that front end all about, leading link front suspension as it turns out is a natural anti dive which improves handling.
After reading about the company and the motorcycle I decided to take one for a ride and that was all it took.
I like the comfort of this bike, the more I ride the more I want to keep riding. The 85 ci x-twin gets 45-50 mpg so it makes it easy to keep riding.
It corners really well, it will easily take hard turns, really hard turns might cause you to scrape the floor boards on the ground.
Excelsior Henderson is still in business they do support this motorcycle. I have called the factory and talked to Dave Danielson during the bankruptcy, these people are dedicated to the success motorcycle.
If you are considering to buy a Super X make sure you buy from a good dealer. The dealers have failed this motorcycle.
