In the short time I have owned my Super X, (Less than a year,12,500 miles)I have enjoyed the hell out of it. The bike handles like a dream, has plenty of power, it turns heads where ever I go. You will find the fit and finish to be second to none. The front end, while different then most, it has a stability that can't be beat. 95-100 M.P.H. and it wants more. The brakes stop good too.
My opinion is that this bike is in a class by itself and can not be compared to any other.
The only down side to owning one of these fine machines is the fact that there are not many of them on the road yet. And as with any new product, there are going to be problems. The few problems that I have had have been fixed and covered under warranty.
If you should decide to buy one, I would recommend that you deal with an established dealer, One that has had training from the factory and is willing to stand behind the sale. There is also a lot of good information on the yahoo Excelsior-Henderson club boards. You will find that those of us that own Super X's are very passionate about them and we are willing to share any knowledge that we can!!
So.. With that said, get out and test drive one... Ask lots of questions... Buy one and join the small but growing group of Excelsior-Henderson Super X owners.
