10 reason to get Elite 80!!!

Pros: easy on gas, cheaper to maintain than cars
Cons: careful changing lane on busy street, heavy, about 200 lb.
The Bottom Line: If you are thinking about commuting with Scooter, Honda Elite 80 is the perfect balance between cost and performance. Go for it!

I got an used Honda Elite 80, 1987 model to be exact. I done my research before putting down the bucks.
Compare with other Scooter out there, Honda Elite appeal to me due to the following reasons:
1. Honda 80cc is one of the most popular model, if anything ever breaks, I know I can go to any motorcycle/scooter service center and not worry about arcane parts.
2. Low seat height, I am slightly over 5 ft tall but my feet can still touch the ground.
3. Easy to resell, most people these days want 80cc, I can probably sell it anytime I want and get decent price for it.
4. Low maintenance lost, it probably get 70-80mile per gallon, I always get the most expensive premium gasoline for my elite 80.
5. Can carry 2 people, you may not need it, but it's always nice to have.
6. Very reliable, easy to start, no shift gear. A lot more friendly than motorcycle.
7. easy to park. You can park almost anywhere.
8. People don't ask you for rides. So that save you a lot of time.
9. Scooter is cool!
10. Cost a lot less than a car,
car: parking + gas + insurance
scooter: free parking + minimal for gas + cheap insurance
