| rtrottie's Full Review: 2000 Honda Elite 80 |
I just recently bought a new Honda Elite,it is simple to drive, good looking, and outstanding on gas.The seat is long
enough for two, also soft and comfortable. The engine is quiet
so if you like to ride at night, you will not keep anybody
awake.Starts-up almost every time, but stay off the throttle
at first, because the elite prefers to self-idle.Honda
quality is a plus, steering is easy and braking is
smooth.Picks up speed good, also handles steep inclines okay.
The horn is loud and all the controls are close.I am a small
person,so top speed is between 45 and 50 mph.If you are
looking at getting into motorcycle, this is a good starting
place. If you already ride, the elite 80 is a relaxing ride
without shifting. For anybody, that is worried about there
image. Most people just stare at scooters at first, and then
they start asking to ride.
