| cbarker's Full Review: 2000 Honda Magna |
I have a 1994 Honda VF750C Magna. I purchased this bike in a used condition, but very well maintained. My 94 is basically the same as the 2000 model by Honda except the newer models have a 4mm larger carbeurator setup.
I really like the power and handling of the Magna as well as the comfortable ride. I added a set of Cobra Floorboards and they have been the best addition to the bike.
If you add a windshield, be careful as there may be a lot of updraft and a set of lowers will be necessary to correct this.
The bike is very powerful and has great handling characteristics. I love the twisties and can cruise about 150 miles before the factory seat starts to make your rear end go to sleep. An aftermarket seat would be preferable if you are going to make long rides.
I came to this bike from an 83 GL1100 Aspencade and let me tell you, the fit and finish are excellent and the bike handles very well coming down from such a very heavy bike. I would recommend that anyone from the beginner to the most experienced rider make the Magna his choice.
