Pros: Fast, reliable, smooth, handling, and absolutely unique in a world of clones.
Cons: Smallish tank, single disc front brake & drum rear brake, seat uncomfortable for long rides.
The Bottom Line: The best all around ride I've ever had. Rock solid engine, fast but well-behaved, excellent handling and looks. It defines "Sport Cruiser". Interested? Get One.

I've been riding motorcycles since 1963, pretty much steady but with a couple of year or two gaps.
I even spent a couple of years dirt-tracking as an AMA pro.
When I decided to get another one, I knew this would be the last one for me, so I wanted a really good one.
I talked with mechanics, spent hours looking at the internet, looked in motorcycle junkyards, and finally decided on a Honda Magna.
It's one great ride!
Fast, smooth, reliable, a jewel of an engine, excellent handling, cruises all day in 100-plus heat at 80 with no sign of stress, starts right up after a couple of weeks sitting in the garage.. It's a great package and I'm delighted I got it.
The cons have been listed, but are insignificant in balance with the positives. Smallish tank, drum rear brake & single disc front, the stock seat can be a little uncomfortable after a couple of hours (I replaced it with a Mustang Regal.. huge comfort difference for long trips).
There are many after-market mods people can choose, from seats, progressive front & rear springs, jet kits, etc. to make it just what you want it to be. That's half the fun of owning a bike..
In short, every day I have it I'm happier about buying it than the day before.. The exact opposite of my experience with over a dozen rides over the years, where the negatives eventually seem to outweigh the positives and push you into getting something else.
Not this time! Home at last..
