I purchased the '96 Honda Shadow VT1100C about 6 months ago and I love it.
I have been riding motorcycles since 1971 and i must say I enjoy this bike as much or more then any other street bike I have owned. Honda reliability speaks for itself as all I have to do to this bile is put gas in it, change the oil once in a while and just ride it.

My riding is all done in a 3 hour or less distance from home so this bike suits me fine. I am a larger then average rider ( 6'3'' and 265 lbs) but this bike is quite comfortable for me. Even with my wife on board (another 110lbs) the bike handles well. I fully intend to buy another Honda when the time comes and I kind of have my eye on the Valkyrie when that time comes.
