Reliability: I have had no problems to speak of from this bike. It does seem to like the coolant and oil but other than that the bike runs fine.
Comfort: I have ridden this bike over 6000 miles in half a year. Do you think I would do that if it was not comfortable? I did replace the seat with a mustang seat though. Also, I have an air hawk cushion. These just take the edge off from riding long distances. I would seriously recommend them to anyone who is thinking about riding for more than 2 hours a day. While the ergonomics are good all the weight does reside on your butt. There are not too many riding positions on the bike and thus you will definitely go numb after a while. The feet forward position is wonderful for the legs. I have engine guards too and they really help if you need to stretch out further. If you cant reach the pegs though you will be uncomfortable.
Handling And Control: Very nice. It is no sport bike but It can corner very well and is very stable. Low speed maneuvers are a breeze. The bike does show its weight if you are going up hill but otherwise she handle her 600 Lbs well.
Quality and Craftsmanship: Dude its a Honda, of course it is well made. It is also MADE IN THE USA!!!!! The one problem I have had with the craftsmanship is the bolt which holds the seat to the bike broke. It was my fault because I over torque the nut.
Parting words: This bike is wonderful. But it is not really meant for the long haul. Its fuel mileage sucks. I average 120 per tank. That is about 37 MPG. Not bad but you can do better. Also the tank only holds 3.2 gallons before reserve. Another draw back is the lack of a fuel light or fuel gauge. You have to use the tripometer to figure out how far you can go till you need gas.
Out of 5 stars I rank this bike a 4. It doesnt do everything you might want it to do but what it can do it does very well.
