I decided to get a dirt bike. So when I was in the Honda dealer, I decided on the honda XR100R. Although this bike is really a bike for learners. when I got it I was a learner. its only a 1996 model so its not that old and we have only had a couple of problems, nothing serious. The first problem was that I broke the clutch off, my fault, I had a bad spill. I also had another problem with a screw that fell out and that is all. I have only had two problems with that bike in the 5 years that I have owned, thats why its so great.
The dirt bike has alot of great features like the reserve gas tank so if you run out of gas, you can turn a switch, and then you have enough gas to get back home and refill it. its a great feature for kids who have problems checking and maintaining the bike.
another thing is, i love driving this bike, one of the reasons is that it is a 5 speed manual transmission and I love that. I have always loved manual cars and I have always loved manual dirtbikes.
I will always have this bike and I recommend it to anyone.
