| jbran4's Full Review: 2000 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-9R |
I was looking for a CBR 929, but unfortunately all of them had been pre-ordered from every dealer in my area last year. I read a few things about the ZX-9r, and was interested. I bought it to replace a CBR-600 F4 which I had last year. I had never owned a Kawasaki before as I was a Honda fan, but I think my mind has changed. Apart from the selection of only 2 colors, I have almost nothing to complain about in this bike. It is an awesome machine. I like to ride on fast windy roads, and this thing sticks to them. The handling is something I didn't expect out of Kawasaki. It is beautiful. The engine is very powerful. The only complaints I have are that the engine has a slight stumble off idle and the muffler makes it so quiet it doesn't sound like a 900 (although that's not really a legitimate complaint). The brakes stop it very quickly. I have had numerous comments on how good it looks (I got the purple color). If you are in the market for a sports 900, this is the bike to buy!!
