I bought the 2000 Marauder after not riding for 18 years. I've always like the Cruiser style of motorcycles, and this bike has a great look. Lots of chrome is standard as you can see. The bike is fairly heavy at 456 lbs (dry weight). The thing I had to get used to, was the huge front wheel, which makes the front end heavy in slow turning. A little practice, and it's more comfortable now. The drag bars are nice, forward foot pegs also gives the rider more comfort. The bike only has 46 HP, but that's plenty for me. It's more show than go, so if you are looking for a high powered cruiser, this isn't it. I get lots of compliments on the bike, even the Harley guys like it. I did consider a Harley Sportster, but my budget said no, so this was my second choice. Nice handling bike, could use better seats, the Ironbutt ride is not my thing.
