| cuda's Full Review: 2000 Yamaha Road Star |
I have owned many a motor cycle in my 32 years riding and this is by far the best experience yet! I have ridden Harleys and Kawasakis, Hondas Nortons and some smaller Yamaha's, but nothing compares to the feeling of pure excitement. No problems after a year of hard riding and I get looks where ever we pull into. All of my Harley friends like the bike and frequently ask me not to leave them behind when we go for long rides. And talk about power its there when you need it and has all the torque and more than any thing stock out on the streets. Pulls up hills like they are not there. I don't know if I will ever owne any thing else again. Looks, function, power, torque, and reliability!!!! My wife loves to ride and enjoys the ride as it is very smoooth with just enough vibs to make it interesting. One of the big difference "as if there were only a few" the room the passenger has to move around is unquestionable. I have ridden around the country several times to the east coast and back and have well over 500,000 miles but nothing so pure!!!! I have had a few people tell me they sold their Harleys and bought a Road Star.
