| dennisjarvis's Full Review: 2000 Yamaha Road Star |
I purchased the Road Star after riding the V-Star Classic for two years. The V-Star Classic is a beautiful motorcycle and is a very fine motorcycle by anyones standards . After riding the Yamaha middle weight cruiser the next thing to do is go get the biggest v-twin cruiser in production today. The Road Star has plenty of torque and power . You can cruise all day at 70 miles per hour in fifth gear with the throttle at the one third open position. It is beautiful to look at , the price is very affordable at $10,600.00 . The after market accessories are plentiful for the "Roadie" and it is only in its second full year of production. The ride height and the weight of the bike makes for a smooth handling cruiser and is nimble and quick thru the curves of many back roads and still maintains a good seat of the pants feel .If you are a serious biker and want a reasonably priced, reliable cruiser the Road Star is it! Ride for the pleasure of it and do it on the Road Star built by Yamaha!
