I bought my son his yamaha after years of riding kawaski. Wish I had stayed green. After 30 hours of riding, the bike is now junk. We bought this 4 stroke because we own 64 acres of land and he has built trails for riding his bikes on. The motorcycle is not built up to par. Not only did it not run right from the beginning but the spokes on the wheels did not hold together. The dealer tells me they are almost threaded to the very end and now need to be replaced. The front shocks did not hold up and the boot did not stay on. Bolts also need to be tighted (which is something you have to do on all bikes) but they wanted over $1000.00 to replace everything. We've had the bike for 30 days. So I figured so far it has cost me $100.00 an hour for my boy to ride his bike. In the carb the needle and seed went on the first week of riding. The craftmanship of the yamaha product leaves a lot to be desired. If you want a bike that is built to hold up buy a kawaski. Just to let you know this was his 4th new bike. I always by new just so I won't have the problems I'm having with this one.
