I just bought my Honda recon 2 days ago. I only got a chance to ride it twice, but while I was driving it, I didn't want to get off. This is my first ATV, and to me, it is real simple to drive. It has the automatic clutch, so shifting gears is simple and easy.
I dont know about everyone else, but the one I bought was on sale for $3,100. After tax and freight and all the other stuff, it turned out to be $3,500. But with a name like Honda and a reputation of quality vehicles, I think it is well worth the money. It has a 229cc engine (even though they call it a Recon 250) that keeps it chugging through all types of terrain. I think it is an all-around great ATV and even better for a beginner.
