Pros:Curb appeal. Superior quality of parts. Excellent handling
Cons:Price of bike, parts, and service
The Bottom Line: Knock-your-socks-off quality, superb handling, easy to work on (except the EFI), maximum CURB APPEAL!

This is my 25th motorcycle, but my first Harley, over the last 35 years. I could not be happier with the bike. The biggest suprise was the superior handling. I've never owned a bike that "tracked" so well through a turn. The balance is extraordinary even a walking speed. The quality of the chrome, the fit and finish of parts, the paint, and reliability all exceeded my expectations. The fact that it is such a beautiful bike is icing on the cake. I have fuel injection and thus the temperature control system--it performs flawlessly.

I have never been happier with a motorcycle and wish I had gotten to a Harley years ago...I just couldn't afford one until recently. The prices of Harleys are too high although I did pay MSRP right off the showroom floor. (my price shown is with 2-tone paint, EFI, security system, taxes, plates. That is, it's my out-the-door price)

I think the parts and service prices are even more ridiculous. Although another reviewer said a "reflash" is $150, my dealer was also at $149.95 for the ECM, but that does NOT include the labor (another $175 to reflash and install the breather kit). And few realize that the dealers KEEP your ECM when they program the stock one.

But I'm getting too much into "The Motor Company" and away from the bike. The bike, in a word, is outstanding. I guess the best way to explain my feelings is that when I'm riding on my 2002 Deuce, I ENVY NO OTHER BIKE OWNER...PERIOD!
