Great Car for the Money
by melissareed: Written: Dec 05 '02
Recommended: Yes
Pros: Sleek, Sporty, Smooth, Fast Pick up, 3 inches shy of length of the Toyota Camry
Cons: Resale value, Loud engine
The Bottom Line: This is a great car for the money, and a nice and way cheaper alternative to the Toyota Camry or Honda Accord and virtually the same size.

I was lucky enough to get my Grand Am cheap as an 02 leftover which would negate the biggest con, which is the Resale value since this is a domestic vehicle. The ride on this car is amazing as it pulls off being a sporty sedan. It has the tightness and responsiveness of a sports car, combining this with the smooth ride of a family sedan. Nice choice!! The option packages are worth it, and get one with a sunroof and the awesome Monsoon sound system that has very cool features, such as filters, and time updates. The sporty wheels and upgraded sound system are worth the money.
Amount Paid (US$): 15,700
Condition: New Model Year: 2002 Model and Options: Grand Am SE1, Automatic, Sunroof
