Pros: Who is driving that beast, Jesus I want to ride on that bike.
Cons: I'm still looking.
The Bottom Line: This bike is a true stallion. but like I said its still fairly new but the first impression blew my socks off.

| arnold3's Full Review: 2003 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Mean Streak |
Dad just got this bike about a week ago and it is the sickest cruiser I haver ever ridden.
My dad researched all the cruisers out on the market for a whole week to find the best bike overall. He found that it was the Kawasaki 1500 Mean Streak that placed on top over Harley V Rod, The Yamaha Warrior, Victory Vegas and some others that I can't remember. The research helped a lot when it came to finding this bike.
However this bike has a a special paint job from Jesse James and Muzzy pipes that sounds bad to the bone! (not stock) and I am not even a cruiser dude. This bike is well balanced in the turns and has plenty of power to get you into trouble, but I don't really know what kind of power its got since its still in the break in period where you have to keep it below 3,000 RPM. This bike is pretty comfy too, along with it being shaft driven. The ride feels like you can go for long periods of time with out stopping. The clutch on this bike is smooth too like butter and the breaks stop on a dime. Kawasaki really did a nice job on this bike and is well worth the effort to look at and buy especially since there are not very many out on the streets that look and feel like the 1500. It also gets about 45mpg in the city!
The bike is fairly new so there isn't much I can say about it but being a Kawasaki and knowing how well they build bikes it should be pretty dependable.
