| peterbilt105's Full Review: 2003 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Classic |
I purchased my 2003 1600 in April 2004. While looking at Yamaha,Honda, and searching for a 2004 1600 to look at, I discovered my 2003 1600 at the dealer in Tupelo, MS. It was left in inventory and had not been sold. I recieved a great reduced price. I added crash bars, front light bar,Mustang driver and passenger seats, sissy bar, and leather saddle bags. Every where I ride people comment on how much they like the red color and the looks of the bike. They also ask what kind of bike is it or is it a Harley? My wife and I ride most every weekend. We are fortunate to have many two lane highways and open country near us. It is a dream to ride and just relax and enjoy the outdoors. We are both in our early sixties and recommend a crusing bike to anyone wanting to relax from the rat race.
I have owned many motorcycles in my life. But, the 1600 is probably the most comfortable ride I have had. The extra weight and heft of the bike makes for a safer feeling between your legs. The torque and power of the engine is more than you could ever need. So my take on the 1600 is, this is probably my last bike till it just quits or wears out.
