Pros: beautiful looks, good gas mileage
Cons: looks faster than it is
The 2003 lancer comes in three different trims (ES, LS, OZ rally). I own the OZ rally trim and love it. It has a sporty look but the practicality of a sedan. It appeals to teenagers but also to men with families. Since it has four doors, the car makes it SO much easier for that back seat access. It can also accompany two child car seats with its built in safety latch loops. The two rear seats can also fold down to extend trunk space. With the OZ rally package you get the rear spoiler and alloy rims which really separates the car from other sedans on the road. The gauge cluster on the OZ is also sporty and attractive with its white faces and red illuminating glow. The gas mileage is great with the car as well. I get about 28mpg city and 32mpg highway. Even without any modifications, the stereo sound is wonderful. Another bonus about the car that is easily overlooked is the roof height. The roof on the car is a bit taller than average making it easier for a taller person to drive or be a passenger. That feature of the car also makes for great rear view visibility.
