Pros: Comfort, plenty of pep, excellent gas mileage (60+)
Cons: Tough to clean the lower interior parts of the windshield.
The Bottom Line: Get one! at the price, it is almost a disposable, but I would not trade it even if I do get another bike.

| joefam's Full Review: 2005 Yamaha Majesty |
Before the Majesty I had a 102 cubic inch modified Road Star Warrior. Nothing in its class could touch it for 0-60 racing. In fact, even the GXRS could not touch in through 1st gear. I had about $15,000 in the bike. It had no storage and no windshield and no floor boards. ( I still loved it.)
The Majesty was bought as a second bike for our beach house. It quickly became the bike of choice and I recently sold the Warrior. I also recently took a 12-day, 2,069 mile round trip to Key West from western NC. The Majesty performed flawlessly and I had all the storage I needed (with the optional trunk installed).
Now I have seen a few rare complaints that the maxi is a little loose over 75 mph at turnpike speeds. Well, yes. But the guy I road to Key West with was on a BMW K1200LT...about a $22,000 bike. And when we got on the Florida Turnpike and were cruising at 75 mph. he said that he too got a little blown around. Now that bike is over $16,000 MORE than I paid for my 06 Majesty.
If you want to see America and have fun and be comfortable, get a Majesty. If you want to travel the interstates and get from point A to point B and see nothing but tarmac, spend another $15,000 or so and get a Gold Wing or some other luxury touring bike.
