Pros:value, reliability, style, fuel economy, brakes and handling
Cons:could use a little more high end torque
The Bottom Line: This is simply the best scooter for the price, hands down. Get this 125cc beauty instead of any 50cc bike.

This is simply the best scooter you will find for the money. Style, ride, quality - it's got it all. I bought the 2004 Vino125 for around $2000, and it was worth every penny.
First some rider stats: I'm 6'4" and 180 lbs, and I live near Denver - 5280 feet altitude. Even at my height, this scooter is a very comfortable ride. The seat is nice and big, enabling me to sit very comfortably. I have also taken my wife as a passenger for short trips.
I've owned this bike for about a year now and put 3300 miles on it, and had no problems with it at all. I've done most of the maintenance myself, and the manual is well written. From what I've observed, this is a high quality bike.
Acceleration from 0-35 mph is very strong. Above 35, acceleration is much more gradual, and the last 1/4 throttle doesn't do much at all. Top speed for me on this bike is typically 50 mph, depending on terrain and wind direction. When going up a 3-4% grade into the wind, I can manage only 40 mph, while downhill with a swift tail wind, I have done 65 mph. Keep all this in mind when deciding what size scooter is right for you based on the roads you will be driving.
The brakes (rear drum and front caliper) are excellent. They provided me with plenty of stopping power during the motorcycle licensing test. The suspension also stands out, giving a very smooth ride for a bike of this class.
The four stroke engine is clean and quiet. Over 1600 miles of data, I've averaged 79 mpg.
Other nice features include: ample storage space under the seat, straightforward maintenance, excellent head and tail lights, lighted fuel gauge, center stand, and great maneuverability.
The bottom line is I would strongly recommend this bike to anyone looking in this class of motorcycle. The step up in value to the 125cc from any 50cc bike is beyond compare.
