Pros: Quality, fitment and style
Cons: The addictive nature of the brand!
If you are looking at Hondas, then you likely are already a fan! This 2007 version is identical to the 2006.
I've owned a bunch of Hondas and love them. This Accord is no exception.
We only have the four cylinder EX 5-speed, but it performs like a 6 cylinder car. It's very responsive and peppy (considering it's larger than most 4 cylinder cars I've driven). It has great torque and acceleration. The automatic tranny versions we tested had lackluster engine performance compared to the manual tranny.
Our model is silver with a rear wing spoiler. I debated a long time deciding on the rear wing spoiler vs the rear deck lip. I've since come to the conclusion the rear lip would have looked classier. The styling is very nice and updated. We're happy.
We opted not to get the leather, but wish we had. Even with the cloth interior, we felt the interior is smartly designed for function and appearance. The Controls are all within easy reach and the steering wheel audio controls are another nice touch. The back seats are as roomy as ever and comfortable too. We have two child car seats back there right now, and I don't get kicked in the back because of ample room for my kids.
It should be noted the trunk is very roomy and easily fits a double stroller folded up (a graco duo glider).
I like the stereo, but as with all Hondas, they seem to ignore the vast number of people who would prefer an aftermarket stereo. The factory stereo has an opening not compatible with aftermarket units (without customized work). We'll stick with the factory radio, but it's adequate, but if the dash/stereo design were more standardized, I'd jump ship in a heartbeat. I come from a car audio competition background (winning a few best in shows with my cars), so if this stereo is adequate for me, then it's likely more than ok for the casual consumer.
Quality says it all! It's a Honda, so need I say more?
