Everything I Wanted and More!

Pros: Economy Priced but still sporty, reliable and GREAT gas mileage.
Cons: Wish I had cruise control& I have more fine little scratches then I'd have expected.
The Bottom Line: Looking to have a great car and not have a HUGE car payment? A KIA Spectra is it! Great gas mileage, sporty, reliable etc...all for a LOW price!

My Husband bought Hondas for years and I loved them and never had a problem with them...but when he had to retire due to illness and I went out and started a career, I eventually needed to buy my 1st car. The KIA people were so nice to a 35 year old woman starting over...and they gave me lots of info about their cars that I used to make an informed decision. They were truly interested in making sure I chose a car that was just right for me! I had also visited a Honda Dealership because we had always had Hondas...and even though I was not sure I would be able to afford another Accord, I was interested in learning about all of the options. They were not interested in spending any time to help me...THAT is why I left and started looking elsewhere.

With its sporty body design, GREAT performance and handling, and outstanding fuel efficiency of up to 35 mpg, My Spectra is well rounded and much loved!

Spectra's many standard features include A roomy interior, an AM/FM/CD audio system with six speakers and an auxiliary audio input jack for MP3 devices,Power windows, power locks, and a smooth automatic transmission. The 2.0-liter engine puts out 138 horsepower.
Spectra has earned the five-star crash safety rating in frontal driver and passenger crash tests, from the National Highway Safety Administration (NHTSA) and comes with Kia's comprehensive 10 year/100,000 mile warranty program.

I have a black Spectra with a dove gray interior. The interior has stayed looking nice with me and three kids using the car...the fabric seats wipe clean easily.
I am not a mechanic, just a regular woman who knows what she wants...a car that runs well EVERY TIME you get in it..reliability...I want to look stylish & be able to afford the car..and for such a cheap price...My spectra LOOKS like a nice little sporty car! I wanted GREAT fuel economy...and my KIA accomplishes that! My stereo is great...I do not want to go out and spend tons of money putting in a high tech stereo system...so I was delighted that the factory stereo has good volume and clarity!

The ONLY problem that I have had is my paint. It seems to scratch easily with small highway debris. I travel for work a lot and it just seems like I get tiny scratches a lot more then with any car I have driven before.

I paid $14,000 for my car and I feel that I made a great choice!
