Thank goodness we lease this Pig for 3 years . This car looks good it rides good BUT the gas mileage is HORRENDOUS !We wanted to lease something that would give us good gas mileage. I looked at the accords to small and to low. After lots of reading the Camry was the car for us. And Consumer reports said the car gets 23 city 33 highway . I told my wife lets do it !!! We never had a high mileage car I could not wait to test the car on mileage, first time 17.6 but it's a new car it will get better second time 16.9 maybe I'm doing something wrong third time 17.1 hey what's going on here !!!! What I did was right before we got on a highway i filled the car up with gas drove 64 miles put gas back in the car as soon as we got off the highway put gas back in the car ....Bingo 19.10 MPG. I called up the dealer they had their best tech check out the he was from TOYOTA he said "put premium gas in the car you'll get better mileage "" I said what about the page in the showroom on the car thats say 23city 33 highway he said "don't believe those signs . I called up toyota Hq the person there said the rep that checked out your car is finale . My next step is the EPA I also called up consumer reports a person there said " when you read a car gets 23-33 that's what it got with many people driving that car after x amount of miles they then compute the gas miles and report the mileage .. This Camry Sucks on gas mileage can't wait for this lease to be over ....
