Tired of the typical gay skin rags where you have shot after shot of the typical generic gay clones? The 20-something, hairless, blond, incredibly buff and hung types not doing it for you anymore, or just tired of staring at the same old poses in photo shoot after photo shoot?
[2] is, according to their own description, a collection of America’s hottest erotic photography devoted entirely to hot-blooded, sensual couples in steamy, sexy passion and I would generally have to agree with that description. Having seen plenty of gay skin rags in my time, [2] is a notable exception in that it focuses more on gay couples making love and having fun instead of just the act of sex in their photo spreads.
If you’re looking for hardcore images, look elsewhere because [2] is more interested in showcasing hot men together in an intimate and sexually positive light where the steam is produced by the energy between the two men and not from the graphic sexual images that are in some other magazines.
Models run the gamut of looks and run from well-established porn stars to unknowns, [2] presents these models in various locations and situations that graphically illustrate the attraction and sexual playfulness between males. That’s not to say you are going to find unattractive models, but [2] makes an effort to present models that are not necessarily the typical “hot-guy” that fills most gay porno.
The scenes in the photo shoots are erotic and sexy and show models (who are at times, actual couples in some issues) in various stages of making love. Like I said, hardcore images are not found in [2], instead the photography focuses instead on the intimacy and the feelings between the two men. That’s not to say that you aren’t going to see everything that these guys have to offer, but don’t expect to see graphic depictions of sex between these guys, that’s not what [2] is about. You’ll look at the picture and have a feeling about what is happening but the pictures are set up such that you have to use your imagination a bit to get to down to the dirty details. The situations that the models are in vary and include various fantasies – it’s not like these guys just walked into each other and started to have sex – there’s a bit of a set-up in each shoot.

Final Thoughts
It’s a bit pricey for a subscription (or an issue), but [2] is a high quality gay erotic magazine that showcases the eroticism and sexiness of two guys together. If that’s what you are looking for, you will enjoy [2].
