Pros: extremely good polish
Cons: high price, takes a while to remove the throwoff from the nooks and crannies
The Bottom Line: a great polishing compound, not too aggressive, yet gets the work done by hand or machine.

| jetdriven's Full Review: 3M Finesse-It II Finishing Material Machine Polish |
I recently repainted my 1987 black mustang with PPG base/clear paint and had to sand it with 2000 grit paper to level the finish. the Finesse-it II with a rotary polisher and foam pad brought the shine out to an incredible level. Light pressure and patience are the key. Not much information out there on how to use it but my best results were to allow the product to dry as you polish, then reduce pressure and allow it to build a high shine. Finesse-it II has no wax or oil, so it is paintable.
I have also used it on a 1991 eagle talon with faded paint and on several aircraft. It works pretty quickly and wont leave swirl marks provided you keep the pad clean and change it before it wears out. also great for hand application. It removes all sand scratches 1500 grit and finer.

Yes
Ease of Application: Good; takes little time to apply
