Hot pink definitely draws your attention, doesn’t it? I do believe it does and these flags help ensure that things are not missed!

We use these flags to mark changes on contracts when testing new products or changes on products. If we find something spaced wrong or spelled incorrectly, missing or not aligned correctly, we have to mark the items and give them back to the programmer to change.

If it’s a new product, there can be oodles of corrections that need to be changed. And, you don’t want to go back and forth numerous times. You want to make it happen in as few handlings as possible. These flags will help ensure that the changes are not missed.

The Product

These are self-sticking flags like Post-it note, but they are smaller. These measure roughly 1 inch x 1 7/10s of an inch.

They have a sticky backing that does not tear your pages. But, you want to take them off slowly, otherwise, I have had papers ripe. I haven’t had the paper “peel” when removing the flags, as they are not that sticky.

They are re-useable. I have quite a stack on my document holder that I use and re-use numerous times. They keep sticking. They do start to loose some of their “stickiness”, but it takes a lot of time removing and reapplying the flags to papers to make them ineffective.

I think I have used most of the flags in my pile about 20 times, and they are still holding strong!

The pink, really is a very hot, bright pink color. You cannot miss it. It reminds me of the 1980’s hot pink trend that went around, especially in the Wham videos with the black lights lighting up all of the neon yellow, pink and greens!

The flags come in a pop-up dispenser with 50 flags per dispenser. I have never had one of the flags not pop up on me. They have fortunately always pulled out with the one that I am grabbing. If it did, you would have to break through the hard paper or cardboard backing to get to the flags.

The flags themselves are slightly rough on the top or non-sticky side. Being that they are not glossy, you are able to write on them with a pen or pencil. Pencils do not show up very well. So, if you want a note to be noticed, either use pen or you will have to write next to the flag what you are drawing attention to on the paper!

Overall Impressions

For the price, these flags are an excellent bargain, especially since you can re-used them so many times! The two pack that you can buy in stores normally costs around $4.00. That makes each flag .04, but if you can reuse them multiple times, it is even less!

The color is an attention grabber! You cannot miss the hot pink. The color is not muted or “lighter” when you pull the flag off of the dispenser, it stays as bright as the photo shows above.
