| dlstewart's Full Review: 3M Post It Super Sticky Notes for Breast Cancer Aw... |
At first the beautiful pink color of these Post-It Notes attracted me. Then I noticed the delicate pink ribbon printed on the paper. When I saw that 20-cents from each package of Super Sticky Post-it Notes for Breast Cancer Awareness would be donated to City of Hope for breast cancer research, I didnt hesitate to buy these.
Description
These Post-It Notes come on a cardboard blistercard. There is an arrow at the lower right corner that shows to pull the corner upward. This peels back the protective plastic covering. The paper is square, measuring 2 7/8" x 2 7/8". One pad of paper comes in the package, and it contains 75 sheets.
Each Post-It Note features a pink ribbon at the left side of the note. The ribbon image is faint enough that it almost resembles a watermark. At the bottom of each note are three pink horizontal lines close together, one above the other as a decorative accent.
The back of the pad shows the Post-It logo as well as the words Super Sticky. These notes are stickier than regular Post-It Notes.
There is a caution at the back of the packaging that says the notes may mark some surfaces, lift inks and may bleed when they are wet. The Super Sticky notes also are not meant for use on delicate papers or surfaces. The manufacturer recommends testing the notes before sticking them onto something.
My Experiences
I feel good using these notes. Its great to know that some of the proceeds from this sale go to such a worthy cause.
I usually write on these Post-It Notes with blue or black ballpoint pen. It is easy to see the writing against the pink paper. This paper is a good weight, too. At work we sometimes use an off-brand of peel-and-stick notes. I call them Post-it Wannabe Notes, and I can immediately tell that this Post-It Note paper is thicker and of a better quality than the Wannabe Notes.
These notes stick very well to every surface Ive applied them to. When working at the laptop, Ill grab one of these Post-It Notes and jot down an important note and stick it to the computer, or the portable desktop surface I use the computer on. Being a writer, ideas pop into my head at all hours of the day. Having these Super Sticky Post-It Notes allows me to jot down an idea and stick the note to the wall or furniture (whatever surface is closest at hand). The note stays in place until Im at a point where I can collect it.
I like the Super Sticky notes. Sometimes the regular Post-It Notes dont adhere well to vertical surfaces. I have placed a regular sticky note on a wall and have had it fall down a few moments later. These Super Sticky notes definitely stay in place much longer.
Since the notes are Super Sticky, I have even lifted them from one surface and relocated them to another surface. The notes still stay sticky. Though on some surfaces, the notes will begin to peel upward at the edge a bit.
Purchasing
I bought these Post-It Notes at my local pharmacy for $1.99.
Summary
Im glad I saw these Super Sticky Post-it Notes for Breast Cancer Awareness. Not only are they useful, but Im also donating money to a very worthy cause. I definitely recommend this purchase.
I hope you found this review useful.
