| three_ster's Full Review: 3M Post It Super Sticky Notes for Breast Cancer Aw... |
I have always been a big fan of the Post-It line of products by the 3M company, frequently purchasing them in bulk for both home and office use. When I saw that 3M was selling a product that would present a message about Breast Cancer Awareness I knew I would have to participate in supporting the project. As someone who has unfortunately had to deal with Cancer issues in the past and present, this is a topic close to my heart. Seeing that Office Depot had these particular Post-It notes on sale made it an even easier decision for me to make. So, of course I purchased a few more than I would actually need at the moment.
For the low price of only $2.13 I was able to purchase a 3-pack of the pink Post-It notes. Each of the pads has 75 individual Post-Its on each one, connected by about an inch of glue on the under-side of each note. The notes each measure 3 inches by 3 inches, making them the perfect size for a little note, and giving enough space to write anything that you want. They also sell these in white, but I think that the pink has more of a statement behind the color. On the left side of each note is a pink ribbon used to denote the awareness of the issue.
Putting these Post-Its to work, you can quickly see that they are pretty high quality. In a market that has been watered down by other brands trying to imitate the same type of sticky notes, 3M still has the best on the market. These particular ones are also produced with a stickier glue (called Super-Sticky) that keeps the notes fastened to any surface. I use them on paper, the side of my computer monitor, the back of the keyboard, and anything else that I might need to have a note attached to it. The glue is strong enough to re-use the note, so after you have used it, you can re-use the spare space, or the whole note itself on a new surface without leaving any residue behind or losing the "grip" factor.
Besides all of the obvious benefits to having such a great office product around, the packaging and sales pages present the best thing possible with the purchase of the product. Here is the quote they provide: Fifty cents from each pack sold of these special pink ribbon Post-it Notes for Breast Cancer Awareness will be donated to City of Hope for breast cancer research. When you are getting a product that is useful, and also goes a long way to not only presenting awareness to those around you that see the notes, but gives 50 cents for each package to the research of finding a cure, you cannot go wrong with this product. Already highly recommended for its ease of use and performance, this product goes above and beyond by doing something great for the search for a cure.
