After we got our new shower installed, I realized  that there was no place to hang my Shower Puff.  

There were two shelf places molded into the shower wall, where I could put my schick intuition razor, (I invite you to read that review), and my shampoo and body wash, etc.  But no 3M Command 17081B Designer Medium Plastic Hook, Water Resistant Strip to hang my Shower Puff.  

I tried just putting it up on that little shelf, but it  kept falling off, and I am sorry but I  don't want to use my shower puff after it has fallen on to the floor of the shower.    

I tried putting it around the head of the shower, but I couldn't reach that.  What's a girl to do??  Well, she did what every red blooded American girl does, during a dilemma, she went shopping!!

Drum roll..... I found it..... Yippee.... the most perfect solution!! a 3M Command 17081B Designer Medium Plastic Hook, Water Resistant Strips, 2 Hooks 4 Strips , my dilemma was solved.  

I immediately ran home and with a bottle of rubbing alcohol in hand I went to work.

"A bottle of rubbing alcohol?" you ask.  "Oh, didn't I tell you that is how you fasten these to the wall of your shower.",

"Let me explain.":

To Mount Hooks:

1.  Clean Surface,  Use isopropyl rubbing alcohol, wipe lightly, let dry, DO NOT use household cleaners.  
2.  Apply Strip, Remove red Command Adhesive liner.  Align square end with edge of hook.  Press Firmly. 
3.  Press Firmly!  Remove black "wall side" Liner, Position hook and press entire hook firmly for 30 seconds. 
4.  Wait ONE HOUR Before USE! (this is the most important instruction of all!) 


To Remove Hooks and Base:
1.  Slide Hook Cover Up.  Reveal Mounting base and removal tab.
2.  Grab Removal Tab.  To prevent base from snapping your fingers, hold base as shown.  DO NOT  press base against wall.  NEVER pull the strip out at an angle, Strip could break or damage the surface.
3.  S L O W L Y Slide the tab STRAIGHT DOWN AGAINST THE WALL stetching the strip at least 12 inches (30 cm) until base releases from the wall. 

Caution:
DO NOT use with delicate or paper wallpaper.  May not adhere well to some vinyl wallpapers, DO NOT use for antiques, heirlooms, or other valuable or irreplaceable items.  DO NOT hang objects over beds. (Or ELSE... it could be a rude awakening, Big smiles, I wrote this here to see if you have gone to sleep,  with all the boring instructions! :0)

So now I get into my shower, and there is everything at my fingertips, my razor, my shampoo, my body wash, and my Fluffy Pink Shower Puff, just waiting patiently on my new  3M Command 17081B Designer Medium Plastic Hook, Water Resistant Strips, 2 Hooks 4 Strips.  

The best part is, I used to not use any shower Puffs at all, because I heard that they can harbor germs after a while.   Well, since they are only $1.00 at my local drug store, I change it out weekly.  But in the meantime, it is hanging to drip dry, there in it's own private place.  Each time I get into my shower, I don't worry if it had been on the floor, or if it sat in the water on the shelf, giving more of a chance for germs to grow.  

Maybe it isn't totally germ free, but really is anything?  Sometimes I think we get carried away with trying to rid our environments of each and every germ that comes along.  

When in reality, that is how our immune system works, kind of like a vaccination.  The vaccination introduces a small portion of the germ, into  our bodies, that summons up our immune system to go attack it, and rid our bodies of that bad germ.  

While they are working hard to rid that germ from our system, we are building up a defence team of immunity.

The next time we are faced with a germ, our body knows just what to do to get rid of it.  It in essence gives our body a 'border control' of sorts.  To protect us against the enemy.  

There is a whole wardrobe of 3M Command hooks and hangers, for all our needs around the home.  From hanging pictures, to hanging a shower puff, to hanging our broom up in the kitchen so it doesn't keep falling behind the refrigerator.  Those few and many many more, just see the display at your local department store.  I love that section of the store.  It gets me all organized.  Big Smiles.

 I actually surprised myself, that I had written it, because I was wishing there was a place I could write this epinion, then I found, I already had.   That made me Smile again, at myself...

But like I always try and say, 'hopefully we can teach the world to smile again, one smile at a time..
