Many know of my medical background...I am a cancer survivor living with Lupus.  Monday marked 2 weeks that I have been struggling with vertigo and yesterday I left work early just because.  Well, a friend thought I left sick and this morning when I got to work there on my desk was a gift bag and inside was this with a card that says, "I hope this brightens your day...stick with it...you're going to make it." 

Inside the bag was a shiny black stiletto heel tape dispenser.  It is so awesome looking and just the thing for me.  My office is decorated with a lot of inspirational prints, feminine decor/figurines, etc.  I didn't know there was that many options for making a fashion statement with my ofifce supplies; except for the dainty poly resin business card holder designed as a Victorian style purse.  Everything else is just the generic stuff until now!

The Scotch Stilleto Shoe Tape Dispenser is about 3 inches high from the base of the heel to the top of the dispenser and it might be about 3-4 inches long diagonally from the tip of the shoe to the top of dispenser.  I'm estimating this as I look at it.  I don't have any descriptions to read from because my friend took it out of the box before placing it in the gift bag.

I have the shiny black.  She said it also comes in red but several weeks ago she remembered me talking about how I just had to have some black patent leather heels so that is why she opted for black. 

Okay, as you can see I am very pleased with how sytlish this tape dispenser is but the drawbacks come with the functionality.  It dispenses from the top of the shoe so when you go to grab the tape you sort of disrupt the balance of it.  The heel does rest on a clear plastic circular base but it's not enough support to resist the tension you put on the dispenser when trying to tear off some tape.  I have already knocked it over several times and believe me, I don't abuse office supplies so I'm not being aggressive when I try to dispense some tape.

The shiny black also gets smudged easily and fingerprints show up everywhere but I am sure that a wet tissue will remedy that situation.

The dispenser comes with a roll of Scotch tape of course, but it can also use any standard rolls. 

I'm a very sentimental person with a very grateful spirit so I am honored to give this tape dispenser a home in my office.  Would I buy it for myself if I saw it in a store?  Yes, I would, which by the way, my friend told me that she got it at Walmart in case I wanted to exchange it for the red.  I think this would be a nice gift to give to a lady who starts working for you or your company, a girl going away to college, etc.  It can add a little pizazz to the office or dorm room.  I am drawn to things that appear unique and that say, "This is me...welcome to my world."
