This is by far the best (out of 3) portable personal CD player I have owned. It has Digital Dynamic Bass Boost(2 settings), programmable, repeat and shuffle modes, and a hold button. The hold button locks the buttons so that you can't press them on accident and wear down your batteries. It has a battery indicator that shows how much life is left in your batteries.The battery life with the ESP on is around 10 hours. The sound is just as superior as my home theater system. The battery compartment is actually located inside the CD player underneath the CD so you wont lose the lid for it. It has 40 second electronic shock protection, and does not skip. I took this CD player, jumped around my house, went to the gym and walked on the treadmill and bounced on the elliptical trainer with it in a fanny pack and the thing didn't miss a beat. It was easy to use and smaller than most portable CD players. It is slim, light,and easy to carry.
It came with cassette car adapter, cigarette lighter adapter, and a AC adapter for listening at home. So you don't have to invest in any of those and you don't have to run off of the batteries at home or in the car. It reads both CD-R and CD-RW disks, but not MP3 files. You do want to make sure that it says that it reads the CD-Rs if that is an important feature to you. I highly recommend this product and think that is one of the best for the money on the market right now.I only paid $69.99 at WalMart. I give it 5 stars!
