| Winglis's Full Review: Kenwood DPC-X507 Personal CD Player |
I bought this CD player while I was shopping at the local Sam's Club (local meaning it is actually about 70 miles and a boat ride across Lake Champlain.) because I was in desperate need of a portable cd player. So I was looking around and sudden;y came upon a package deal for a Kenwood portable cd player. My dad had told me that Kenwood used to be much better than even Sony. So I trusted him, and boy was he right. I've had this cd player for a couple years and I've dropped it about five times, all between 4-6 feet off the ground and every time, I pick it up, dust it off, and it keeps playing the music because off the 40 second anti-skip. I listen to it constantly and the player eats up batteries like a calculator. I think I've changed the batteries only three times in two years. The best bet though, if you buy this player, it is well worth the money to buy Duracel Ultras because they do last a lot longer and with the handy re-charge feature that comes or the cd player, you can recharge them anytime you have a near-by wall socket. And as a bonus, it runs on 4 AA batteries, but if you only have two, no need to fret, because it has an option of working on 2 or 4 batteries! So ever since I bought it, we've been attached at the hip.
