| biholzman's Full Review: Philips MZ-7 CD Shelf System |
I purchased this stereo based on reviews I had read in various places - there were all good. They all mentioned that the sound including bass was decent. I can confirm this is true - I was pleasantly surprised by the clean full sound this systems offers, whether it from radio, cassette, or CD.
In selecting a stereo, I was looking for one that looked classy, was small, and sounded good. While it does have woodgrain speakers, I wouldn't say this is the most classy stereo out there, it is ok. Also, it is a bit larger than most small systems, but it does have 3 way speakers and a 3 CD changer. As mentioned before, I have no complaints about the sound.
My primary gripe relates to control - the buttons are very small on the system - and the labels are also. Also, some of the controls on the remote would be better on the stereo as well.
I bought this refurbished from Overstock.com. I have bought
