Pros: Good sound, good power. Capable of 2 ohm mono!
Cons: Seems to lack power in 4 ohm stereo
The Bottom Line: I think this is a great amp and well worth the money. Capable of runnin 6x9's or sub(s). Wish they made a bigger one than this though.

| aj99929's Full Review: Audiovox XA2250 Car Amp |
I've had this amp for over a year now. And I had it running to some junky jensen 10's that I bought in a bandpass box from crutchfield. Big mistake. This amp blew one of the seals on the one. So I bought some jbl l+c's as cheap replacements. And it pushes them really nicely. This amp performs well when pushing some high power 6x9's or pushing one sub. I'm astounded at the fact that it'll do 2 ohm mono at any volume level and not shut down. It doesn't handle 1.3 ohm though:( (just dreamin). It has excellent power for the 2 10's that are 400 watts max each when I do 2 ohm, but has a hard time pushin the 12 that has 300 watts rms, 1000 peak. Just cant keep up with the sub. The sound quality is better than many amps that I've owned and I love the rca outputs on it. Come in very handy. I know you're not supposed to 2 ohm mono on most amps, but it does it very well when pushin subs, and it's the only way to get enough power for the 2 10's. All in all I think this is a great amp. 2 ohms does make this amp get quite hot, but it hasn't shut down yet after nearly a year hooked up like that. Seems very sturdy and I'd surely buy another one if I ever needed it.
