Pros: Can make two copies from my camcorder simultaneously, which greatly reduces time.
Cons: Only one setup of RCA input jacks (on the front no less). Size.
The Bottom Line: Avoid this model, and manufacturer. I had problems, and they seem to sell a lot of refurbs so there must be other problems as well.

| bengalsfan's Full Review: Rio Go Video DDV9550 VCR |
I purchased my 9550 about a year ago, and it has developed a weird problem no one seems to be able to decipher. I see a lot of these being sold as refurbs, and I wonder if my problem is the reason why?
It records and copies fine, but on playback it has lots of snow. This occurs consistently on both decks. I've reset the machine via unplugging it, and I've cleaned the heads myself and professionally. Nothing helps. I can take a tape I recorded on this deck to another VCR and it works fine, but play it on this VCR and it is snowy. Problem is consistent across pre-recorded rentals and self recorded tapes on home from this deck and other VCRs.
Go-Video wouldn't answer my email on this topic, or call back after I left a message on their support line.
I'd think twice before I purchased this model or brand again.
