Pros: compact, stylish, 54-60 hr battery life, remote control.
Cons: blue on blue display is a little hard to read in direct sunlight
The Bottom Line: Overall this is by far the BEST Sony cd Walkman I've owned in a long time. If you can find one, buy it.

D-EJ915 is the 3rd portable CD player I've owned. Before that I had D-E775 and it was a disaster, but I won't get into that.
I paid about $300 Canadian for it and overall I think it's well worth it. Everything is just right, all the controls are in the right spot, the sound is great and uninterrupted. only once did I manage to make it skip, I was in my dad's boat and I accidentally dropped it on the floor while climbing out, hard enough to cause the batteries to jump out of place. Everything was working again once I picked it up. This would make it one of the most durable Discmans I've owned.
It comes with a carrying pouch which comes in very handy when you just want to shove it in your pocket and not bother with taking it out to change tracks or sound volume or anything. Everything is controlled from the remote.
Now the only thing I found to complain about with the design is that the display on the remote control is a little hard to read when the sun is out. The display uses dark blue colored LCD digits on top of an indigo blue background. It's real cool to see in the dark and when not in bright light. but just put your hand over it to shade the light out during the day and you can see it fine.
There are no sound mode or playback mode controls on the unit itself (all controls are on the remote as well as the display). Which is not a problem because the Walkman spends most of it's playing time tied up in the Sony pouch that came with it :-) Though it is nice to show off because of it's unique style and compact design, and you get a lot of complements walking around with it.
