Pros: Many cool trinkets, and it's small.
Cons: Sony hasn't gotten this sound quality thing down.

| mr_chupon99's Full Review: Sony Walkman D-EJ915 Personal CD Player |
After much search through the "sports" discmans made by Sony, I moved to the high profile "easy to break" Sony discmans. I found this one, and I must say it's the first discman which I can tolerate. Don't get me wrong here, it still sounds like the other ones I tried (D-SJ01 and D-SJ15), but the extras make up for it.
The two rechargable batteries it comes with are wonderful and should last me a very very long time, plus the CD player itself is the charger. It comes with an alkaline battery pack, just in case the rechargables run out in the middle of your roadtrip/exercise routine/insert other activity. Apparently, you can use both at once for "increased power". Haven't tested this out, though it's probably BS. At the most, I might be able to turn the sound up another notch without getting distortion.
The remote is very funky. You can attach any type of headphone to it (the ear buds that come with it are average quality), and it's got a light up feature just in case you're playing music inside a dark cave, or in the forest at night (well, I'm sure there's other places perhaps more likely, but you get the idea). All the buttons (sans the eject button) are on the remote, and it's got a hold button so you aren't accidentally hitting them. The G-Protection is just like all the others, and you probably won't experience much skipping until you take it mountain biking. If you do take it mountain biking, be sure not too fall. Although it's made of both plastic (bottom) and aluminum (top), it looks (and probably is) very fragile.
Finally, it's small. It's very very small. around the same diameter of a CD, and about 1/2 of an inch high. Comes with a fabric pouch which holds the player, the battery pack, and one CD jewel case (Sony assumes you don't have much of a collection, I guess).
On a final note, the stock ear buds it comes with suck. They sound perfectly all right, but they're meant for people with really strange ears. If you feel your ears are small-average size, they probably won't fit too well. Be prepared to spend extra dough on a good pair of headphones/earbuds.
