Pros: Thin, Light, Excellent sound, Just the best you can get right now.
Cons: no slide in disc loading? My brother owns it and not me.

I own the D-EJ01 and have written a review on that but I am able to write a review on this one because I bought it for my brother as a graduation present. Although based on aesthetical preference I like the D-EJ01 more and on novelty factor with it's sliding mechanism I would say the D-EJ915 is better or as good a player in every other way. The D-EJ915 is the smalles and lightest of any portable player out there. It's about half an inch thick and almost the size of the CD. Only two rectangular edges on the back make it larger. The remote may not be as nice as the EJ01 but serves the same purposes and functions just as well. The CD has the same battery life as the EJ01 at about 62 hours when using rechargeable batteries and AA at the same time. I've never actually timed to see but I would say that number is quite accurate give or take a couple of hours. The sound is excellent provided you shell out some extra money for a good pair of headphones and the price is considerably lower than that of the EJ01's. Even though I said I prefer the EJ01 more because of the way it looked the EJ915 does not fall short in that department either. It is a beautiful looking machine. What it all comes down to is unless you are into superficial things like me the EJ915 is a better buy than the EJ01. It's size makes it more practical and portable than any other CD player out there. I mean you ARE shopping for a portable CD player aren't you? so why not get the most portable of them all? You can't get smaller than the CD itself and the EJ915 comes damn close to the limits set by the CD. I know this is a review on the EJ915 and i'm sorry if you don't like my many references to the EJ01 but i felt it was the only way to best show that this is indeed the best CD player around. So let me go over once again quickly whats so great about this player. Small size, great sound, great look, great remote w/backlit display, great battery life, g protection which by the wayI failed to mention never fails, and much cheaper than the EJ01. I hope i've helped with your decision.
