First off: NOTE THIS IS A REVIEW ON THE SONY DFJ61 CD WALKMAN not the D-EJ611!!!!
I got this walkman about 8 months ago on my birthday and it has been performing perfectly ever since. Before getting this I had a crappy walkman with 20 second anti-skip...that piece of trash. Anyway, this review again is on the DFJ61 which is the same as the D-EJ11 shown in the picture but the DFJ61 has an AM/FM radio. The radio has 25 FM presets and 5 AM presets. The antenna is above average for a portable device, but could be a little better. Overall the antenna performs very well, and there is very little static most of the time. The walkman is compact and is sturdy and durable. It will probably outlast many many walkmans that are currently on the market. It has a program function for CDs that let you program about 32 songs in the order you want them played. On top of that there is a repeat function and a repeat CD function. The walkman has a HOLD feature that once it is activated any buttons pressed will not function so that if you have it in your pocket it will not accidently pause or turn off. It has an auto resume feature so that if you turn it off in mid-song and then comeback and press play again as long as the CD top hasn't been opened, it will play from where the song left off. The sound quality is excellent, and there is some sound options found on it such as BASS LEVEL. Also no matter what you do, this thing will not skip! I dropped it on the floor, kept on going, punched it, kept on going, kicked it, kept on going, ran 2 miles with it, didnt skip once, and I cut the grass while walking at a swift pace with no interruptions. I love this thing and I recommend them to everyone. Also when you turn it off, if you have chargeable batteries in it, it will automatically start to charge them. On top of that battery life is excellent and usually lasts about 32 hours without the chargeable batteries.
