I bought this product about a year ago (when it first came out). Let me tell you that it was worth every penny! The reason I bought this player was because it was cheap and sounded great when I tried it in the store. Here is a list of the pros of this device:
PROS:
Very Sturdy and Strong -
I use this player in the car and when I jog. As a car CD player, you don't even need to put on the anti-shock protection. This is a great feature because the battery won't run out as quickly. When I jog, I only have to put it on 10 second EASS (even though it goes as high as 40 second EASS) and it won't skip. Once again, the battery will last a long time!
Screen Lighting -
Whenever you touch a button on the screen it lights up. This is great for jogging in the dark and making track changes.
Three-Step Battery -
The LCD screen also has a feature that tells you how much battery is left so you know exactly how long your player will run.
DSL Bass Boost -
This feature is so cool! You can add up to three levels of bass boost that will really enhance the sound and quality. However, make sure you have quality headphones because a cheap pair will not be able to handle the bass.
Conclusion:
I have had this device for over a year now and it is excellent. I recommend this player to anyone that jogs or needs a CD player in the car. Even though I have dropped this machine many times, it works just as good as the day I bought it. Before i had the Aiwa XP-V70, I bought a SONY DISCMAN. Let me say that having tried both of them, the Aiwa is far superior for the money you pay!
I RECOMMEND THE AIWA XP-V70 TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO PAY UNDER $100 FOR A GREAT QUALITY CD PLAYER
