Pros: Excellent Price & Great Features in a extremely reliable unit
Cons: It's a tad high in height, sorta like a old tape deck component unit.
The Bottom Line: Do it all with this one unit...more than just DVD. Digital optical out with CDR's is nice recorded on my portable mini-disc recorder!

| bluemilestone's Full Review: Pioneer DV-343 DVD Player |
I've bought the new Pioneer DVD 343. A great unit, mainly because of the uses of it....it of course plays DVD's excellent, but will play CDR's and Homemade Video CD's as well. Nice to know that you can use this unit to put the family videos on disc and watch them instead of VHS tape! This alone makes the Pioneer DVD 343 a excellent purchase for the money. The unit performs excellent and the only thing I would have liked to have seen is a better menu system. I love icons and other gadgetry on the screen. The menu system works well, just a little too dated for my liking.
