Pros: Compact size, lightweight, user friendly, sturdy design.
Cons: DC adapter sold separately for $30.00. The remote control could be smaller.
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a good compact, "on the go" DVD player with full size DVD player features, this may just be the one for you.

| mutantcheese's Full Review: Aiwa XD-DV170 Portable DVD Player without Screen |
I purchased my Aiwa XD-DV170 DVD player a few weeks ago, and have loved it since I opened the box. The unit itself is smaller than many books I've read. It has all the features of my full size DVD player (and even some extras). I use mine in the kitchen, kids rooms, my bedroom, and even in the family hauler. The graphics are clean and sharp. The picture crystal clear. I find the remote control to be a bit large for the unit, but very functional none-the-less. On board optical inputs as well as RCA connections make it very versatile. I highly recommend it.
