| dctchan's Full Review: Denon AVR-3801 7.1 Channels Receiver |
Looking for a AV Receiver? Want to have 6.1/7.1 DTS/DD? Want the receiver to have great music reproduction? And you don't want to pay much? Looks no further, Denon AVR3801 is the choice. I like the AVR3801 more than Yamaha AX2 simply because it can reproduce sweeter music. Although AX2 have more DSPs to play with, AX2 does not have the ability to satisfy my musical needs. When you do a A-B comparison with AVR3801, you will notice the different.
On thing though, AVR3801 has only one digital output. This is the only draw back. Well, with this price and all features built into this machine, I will not complain much on this issue.
If you are looking for an all round AV receiver. I will highly recommend this.
