Pros: Great features, slick design, and well laid out remote.
Cons: Noise when it rewinds, some buttons on remote could have been bigger.
The Bottom Line: If you want a good, solid VCR for a reasonable price, this may be the one for you.

| vicpoppa's Full Review: Panasonic PV-V4621 VHS VCR |
There were a couple of reasons why I am really happy with this VCR:
Firstly, it might be a little nit picky on my part, but I wanted my components to be fairly uniform in terms of both color and dimensions. Panasonic purposely made their VCR wider and shorter to match the conventional size of a DVD player. Might not be a big factor for you, but I thought it was a nice bonus.
Secondly, the amount of features it came with for the price paid was really good. My favorite is how after watching a TV show that you taped, it automatically fast forwards the commercials without you touching anything. Another feature that is awesome is how it rewinds things extremely fast. A regular movie rental would be done in 15 seconds or so. Only thing is that it is a little loud when it does this.
Lastly, the remote control I felt was really well laid out. It is pretty logical and easy to handle. My only beef is the CH +, CH -, Volume +, and Volume -, were too small. These buttons usually get used the most, and should constitute larger buttons.
Ah, I'm happy though.
