| danzunko's Full Review: Panasonic PV-V4621 VHS VCR |
After reading some opinions both here and elsewhere, I decided to give the Panasonic V4621 a shot. I found it at Etronics for 89.99 + $22.00 (!) S&H. After 3 days of attempting to watch what I had recorded, it was a genuine pleasure to pay $11.00 to ship it back, and lose the original $22.00 S&H. The picture quality of any tape, be it pre-recorded or home-made, was absolutely terrible. The picture jumped and rolled almost continuously. The longest duration without jumping on a home-made tape was 52 seconds. I tried playing the same tape on another VCR, and it jumped and rolled in exactly the same spots. This, of course, means that the picture was RECORDED as being jumpy.
I will say that the "watchable" parts of the tape had a nice quality to them, but they were so few and far between that it is hardly worth mentioning.
My final say on this product - Don't waste your money!!!
