Pros: From 9 remotes to 1...enough said.
Cons: Sometimes slower than proprietary remotes.
The Bottom Line: Mine goes into a safe every night...I would offer a spouse to a thief before my remote...JUST KIDDING (maybe). haha

The other reviews tell more of the specifics and technicals of this remote. I am not going to repeat that. I hope to attack this review from a different angle - USE.
REPLACEMENT - My coffee table used to be cluttered with remotes - Receiver, Jukebox, CD Changer, CableBox, TiVo, VCR, DVD, TV, and LD player. I found these remotes, as designed for their particular piece, a bit faster to use - especially if you know where all the buttons are and don't have to look to use them. HOWEVER - it was cumbersome. It was a hassle to pick one. Not to mention - 26 batteries to replace! My TSU2000 substitutes for all of these, and could for thousands more.
PROGRAMMING - I found the remote very easy to program. Philips included "Pronto-Edit 3" with my remote, which I upgraded to "Pronto-Edit 4." It is all graphic based and very easy to use. However, I also had help. I suggest this site to EVERYONE using such a remote -

Here, users had uploaded their pre-programmed formats for their equipment. So, I just picked and chose the components I had, and borrowed their setups. For some, I made my own modifications...but this was a big time-saver. It had formats for all but one of my components, the HP Digital Music Center.
OTHER- This remote is great because of its ease of use and programming of macros. It was very easy to setup a button that turns my entire system on/off, fast-forwards my TiVo 3 minutes (to skip commercials), etc... This is hard on any other remote - trust me!
So, for details and specs, read the other great epinions. My isn't too helpful, I just think that web address is necessary for those who have these remotes. It is really neat, and also shows how creative one can get with their remote. Its great. Check it out!
