| rashmi338's Full Review: Largan Chameleon Mega Digital Camera |
Largan Chameleon is certainly the smallest of its kind that I have seen. I fell in love with it the moment I laid my hands on it..
But you see, beauty is only skin deep. Largan Chameleon is perhaps the best example of it all. Picture quality is terrible. I have seen 640x480 digital photos taken with other cameras and they aren't bad at all. That's the reason I bought this camera having that resolution. Boy, now I know, resolution by itself isn't anything. Every picture I took, I had to work on in the photoshop. But it is hard to remember of the exact color combination of the subject, especially after several days and several shots. Even taking pictures of the things in the house and trying to match colors in the Photoshop program for the photos from Chameleon was at best frustrating and at worst, plain futile.
Is this a good camera as a cheap alternative for expensive digital cameras? I DON'T THINK SO! Digitals aren't all that expensive these days. For an additional $150.00 you will be able to buy a camera that will be really worth something in terms of quality of pictures you take. Photos, casual or not, are moments you treasure and I cannot trust those moments to this beauty of skin deep.
