Hey for $15 or so bucks how can you beat this? AM/FM, 9 bands of shortwave and a longwave band. Very cool indeed. It does what it says it will do. But there are some problems.
The readout is inaccurate and dialing in the frequency is an art form. Bleedover occurs on to the longwave band from AM sources occasionally. And worst of all, the construction of the unit leaves a little to be desired. Specifically, the antenna is connected with a cheap screw which will jar itself loose with any activity. I had to return one and the replacement developed the same issue.
But for what it is, the price is right and it's a fun, inexpensive way for access to a lot of bandwidth.
